Fun! FUN! I want FUN!!

Time flies, I only left 2 more years as a student. I want to have a much more fun student life! Eager to have memorable, unforgettable and crazy experiences. It can be a simple trip, a crazy night and maybe a warm celebration.

I am lucky to have an opportunity to go Malacca. Yeah! Industrial visit, I love you!

Went to Jonker Street for late lunch. Had their must-try cuisine – Chicken Rice Balls. Because of time limitation, missed the chance to try durian cendol. Took some photos. Passed by classic shops along the road. Spotted somewhere to shop. Saw many foreigners. Stopped by to see the policemen who ride on horses. Was sweating while walking under scorching sun. Laughed and totally had fun.

Eating is my PASSION. By eating, you definitely will get the satisfaction you cannot even able to imagine. However,I am kind of choosy when comes to quality, hygiene and of course VOLUME. It is absolutely great you can find a partner who has a same passion with you. Search new food, taste nice food and get full together. :)

Well, I can proudly say that I am a meat-consumer, especially pork! (It is torturing me since Nott’s cafeteria does not supply any pork.) According to my friends, my eyes shine when I see pork dishes on table. Even my grandparents keep on feeding me pork when i back hometown. Haha, see how desperate am I towards pork. I also enjoy beef, mutton,…

So, for my own opinion, I have some general criteria about food:

*Note that this is all my own perception! I am not judging the quality of food! Once again, this is only my opinion!

Is the food fresh?

It is important for you to acknowledge the freshness of food you consuming. I have several experiences of eating spoiled rice, which disgust me the most. As well as seafood, I know it is hard to find a place with a fresh supply. Please, choose a proper place, eat cheaply and enjoy the tastiness of seafood.

And, is the food worthy?

What does worthy mean? For me, LARGE VOLUME, of course still consider the quality. *quality, Quality, QUALITY.* This criterion only apply to glutton. Haha. Buffet or western restaurants are my preference when I in large appetite!

However, we need some luck for that, sometimes. :( Pity him. *sob sob*

Lying on sofa with messy ponytail, black frame specs, keep on feeding myself with seaweeds and chocolate wafers almost everyday, having Gossip Girl marathon, hugging my 3 poor cats. What a life.

Summer.. I should be lying on clean beach with some foreign bikini girls, just beside turquoise seawater and under the scorching sun! I miss the island moment last summer. Haih.

Although island trip seems far to me right now, I still able to attend an installation night with parents. I still can dress up and make up nicely. That night really made my day. Love the after party. Beating rhythm with excellent bass, chateau wine in glass. Memorable:)

Little speciality

For those who know me well, I bet you know I have a little speciality – many facial expressions. I can laugh loudly and smile widely on something, then the next second I can straightaway show an irritated face if I get annoyed. By the way, annoyed face is my trademark.

Because of that, sometimes, I do become friends’ comedian. They often laugh at my hilarious and unexpected expressions, once, a friend of mine was pointing my face while laughing at my facial expression.(=.=) Some even agreed my irritated face is attractive. *Slap my forehead* “You sure are a Leo”, they laughed.

Since then, my weird and extreme expressions always caught by the camera, yup, ugly expression undeniably. I once told I have tendency to take part in drama or stage play, a villain role of course. *Slap my forehead harder*

So, this speciality also builds unfriendly, arrogant and overbearing auras from me. These are just impressions, I’m funny, kind actually. Haha! Please do know me more.

I forgot how exactly I get annoyed at that moment, anyway, my nasty trademark.

Well then, right after exam of course, hang out with Hwa Jun at the place we most familiar with – Midvalley Megamall!

It’s so coincidentally run into the magnificent Pirates of Caribbean’s ship in centre court, we start fooling around and playing with treasures.

Have chilling ice blended green tea, ultimate and blueberry delight at Coffee Bean to feed our stomach.

Okay, okay, I know it’s not taste that nice.

It's really reminiscing for having a family trip. Well, Sukau again! We also stopped by Labuk Bay to watch Proboscis Monkeys. So once again, we took almost 2-hour-driving to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. On the way, we were so starving because all the restaurants and coffee shops were closed during Hari Raya.

My dad suddenly gave an amusing suggestion that we should just find and attend to any open house nearby to feed our stomach. After that, we really met groups of Malays with their colourful traditional costumes.

"Wow! We should follow them!", my dad suggested.

"Wait a minute, why they're bringing along the hoe to open house?", he continue asking.

"Choi! They're visiting cemetery! Still suggest us to follow them?!", mum laughed.

We all bursted into laughter . Haha! We now can only tied up our stomach. It's a very lucky day as the staffs still prepared food for us although we reached there at 2 pm.

We also had a lot of fun talking with a local Chinese tour guide about his experiences and the ways he gets tips from tourists. He was using a hilarious action to show the tourists suddenly put money (tips) into his shirt pocket when driving. We laughed so hard after hearing his tactics. Cunning man! Haha! He shared a lot of uncertainties and embarrassing moments when guiding the tourists. He had to study the basic history and geography time to time, to cope with their tough questions.

He also praised on foreign tourists' generosity. One tourist gave him all the Malaysian Ringgit the tourist left in his pockets before leaving Malaysia! It's about RM 500! How generous was the tourist! He also talked about the path he got into tourism field and he is enjoying it very much!

I went to immigration department yesterday. I already felt a bit impatient because of the officer's discourtesy. She didn't show any respect to me as a customer! Okay, fine!

Luckily, everything settled within a couple hours. But who knows? Things happened in the lift on the way leaving the building. A little girl pushed me so hard to the wall when going out of the lift! What was her problem?!

Wow! I can't believe I gained weight for about 4 kg in these 4 months! See how much I eat~ Haih. It's such a troublesome. For my body shape sake, I did some exercises and went to steam bath yesterday. So unlike my style, right? Can't help T.T I must get the best condition for my new semester!

I'm told that sweating is the fastest and the most efficient way to slim down. So, I choose to do some steam bath. It's quite relax to have steam bath alone. It's quiet and have some individual time, however, not much change to my physical. *frustrated*

Maybe will try once more next time. Can't wait to go KL soon!

I think it is my first time to do some simple, official self-introduction to everybody here. Hello, I'm Stephanie, currently 19 years old. I will be studying first-year Chemical Engineering at University of Nottingham in this coming September.

I'm a perfectionist, consider as a logical thinker, but sometimes being impetuous in certain situation. A fast eater, but an extremely slow drinker (usually teased by friends because of that). I'm also a cat lover as I have 4 cats.

Basically crazy in Japanese fashion, musics and dramas. I was once shouting when just randomly switched to KAT-TUN news on television. I always bring along my camera wherever I go.

I love raw egg yolk. I also love spicy and salty food, but can't stand any bitterness. So, I hate to take liquid medicine, especially for cough. I sure will pinch my nose when taking it and straightaway brush my teeth twice after that.

I'm told that I have a mature appearance as I looked like 20s when I was just 14. I like to receive sincere compliments especially verbally, but I will get annoyed easily if I am being looked down or challenged. I hate sweating, so aqua sports are more preferable.

Jyan! At Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort now! It's really a bless, I can go to 2 islands in 2 weeks! After 6-hour-driving to Semporna, we take a speed boat to the resort for another 40 minutes. This time I sure will snorkeling! Haha!

It's so much different compare to Lankayan as the resort is in wider range, hotter weather and has more coral! I sweat a lot when walking to our chalet. We even go to human-made beach, but, the sand here is rougher and coarser. Once again, a Spanish tourist thought my dad is from Hong Kong! Haha

Guess what? I'm going to Lankayan Island! Hehe! Well, we depart at Sandakan Yacht Club around 10 am. It's my first time to ride speed boat for one and half an hour. I am quite enjoyed riding it except for the part as the strong wind keeps on messing up my hair! Troublesome! But, I wish I can have a private yacht in future~

After that, we have a walk on the beach. The sand is so soft, white and clean. It's really comfortable until I running and playing here and there with my bare foots for whole day. It's a CHEAP and EFFECTIVE acne control formulation - VICKS. It rapidly soothes and lessens inflammation, redness and swelling although it isn't clinically proven. But, my pimples really cleared! I want traveling! At last, I can have a reason to Sukau as my dad was having an upgrading Maxis satellite project. My dad's employee - Kak Ophelia also went along with us as well. Although not much fun at there but it's a paradise for relaxing and appreciating the nature. At least I can have a walk. It attracts a lot of foreign tourists too.

Ittekimasu! It was a nice cloudy day, so I took a lot of scene pictures on the way to Sukau. Love the blue sky so much ♥ We enjoyed and laughed a lot all along 3-hour driving because Kak Ophelia and my dad talked a lot of cold jokes.

We straight away went to Avicess Palm Oil Estate after arrived Sukau. We were lost more than an hour since it had many junctions without any sign board. The road was so rough and uneven, our body kept on shaking and bouncy until my dad sighed his waist's pain. "Kinology," he laughed.

We stayed overnight at Bilit Rainforest Lodge. We packed our things and took a boat to there. I didn't have much walk, conversely, I slept and ate a lot.

I supposed to be out with Jin Yie, but, she was so busy for her performance rehearsal all the afternoon. So, I ended up hanging out with my dad. Haha. We went to see the results for Sandakan Open Golf Tournament, although he didn't play for it that time. Golf addict ~

Sorry to say that I'm totally not interested in golf, or I should say I'm not interested in sports at all. But I think I should have gym to take off some fats since I eating so much this holidays.

I am pleased that I'm told to be prettier, fairer, more university-student-look, healthier than before (fatter in other word, okay, I still can accept that), but today, I totally pissed off when a small little boy called me "mak cik"!

Honestly, I hate children very much. They are noisy, annoying and cunning little brat. I hate wasting time to play with them as I'm entertaining them like a clown. If you handle them incorrectly, they will end up crying and shouting here and there like no one. This maybe is my own perception. I wondering how my parents can be that patient. Remember, I was also a child before.

However, I start to change towards the image of children after I watched the Japanese drama "My Girl". It's demonstrating the hardship of a young, single father grows a daughter by himself. I start to believe that children sometimes can be very cute and more mature than we thought. I love Koharu's smile the most.

What a boring and meaningless days I have gone through:( Ah~ July! Thanks God, I finally have a function night with my family. At least I can think and plan what I should wear, fix the hair and those make up instead of just sitting in front of the laptop and watching my KAT-TUN, Arashi stuff.

The day comes~ It's actually Rotary Club Installation Dinner and my dad is the Outgoing President. Dad, you have done a great job for the previous year. Well done!

Yatta! March is finally over~ I'm FREE~ I can't find a word to express how relieved and happy am I. Somehow I spent the most miserable night by dealing with Digital Media assignment. Do you believe we finished it at 7 am, spent a total of 12 hours at TCR because of that? It was quite a nuisance, right? Ya, I know.

Haih~ Gonna back to KL to study again. Since all of us are free on Friday, so once again, we went to Midvalley today. As expected, ktm was crowded, but luckily, we still can squeeze into the train.

Since all of my relatives had a gathering at my house on cho 2, grandma and aunt had prepared a lot of Hakka dishes for dinner. But, we had to squeeze in our body when eating. Thus, my dad just stand and had his dinner instead. Haha, too crowded!

Ah~ What tired day~ Finally, I can sit down and update my blog. Today is the first day of Chinese New Year or also known as cho 1. My family and I went to 3 open house of my dad's friends, so that means, I can eat a lot, especially pork. Haha! I really enjoy the time with my family and my cat. I gonna sleep early tonight and get energetic for tomorrow visits:)

Yeah! I will be back to my hometown, Sandakan soon ! Hehe. I really can't wait for it. Now Jocelyn and I spend our waiting time online-ing at KLIA's McDonald since our flight is at tomorrow 8.10am. I grumbled when I realised the time limit to online is just for 2 hours only. Argh... How can they do this to us?! I still need to stay all night at here while waiting my flight. It can't help~ All I can do for now is to rewatch the Japanese drama I have downloaded - Gokusen Season 2 [Kamenashi is one of the lead in this drama. XD] How nostalgic~

One week is over and tomorrow have class again. What a pain~ I have a quite boring lifestyle which is wake up at same time, go to same class, walk at same corridor, meet same people, eat almost same food at same place for lunch and dinner... What a boring routine~ Sometimes do think what is life actually means to me.

It is true that human being have a very boring routine in daily life - wake up, brush teeth, have breakfast, go to class or working, lunch, continue to go to class or working, maybe have a tea-break, back to home, have dinner, bath, brush teeth and then sleep. Almost everybody is doing the same habit everyday, maybe this is what life means to us. We can choose a more interesting, simpler life but it is impossible to be applied in this realistic community. Everything is because of our unsatisfactoriness and contentment.

I want to be respected and successful in my future career, so I rather pick the hardship to live this uneasy life or so-called realistic world.

Time elapsed faster than what I expected because I have been studying at KL for almost half a year. When I was reviewing the photos that I had taken for the past few years, I realised I had changed a lot, not only my look, as well as my character.

In general, what we know is girls should make up, shopping and wear nicely. In the past, I just kept on studying at home and totally didn't border about any fashion sense or entertainment because I thought this was wasting my time and money. So, whenever they saw me, their first impression about me was a bookworm. Sometimes, some of them also criticised me as a unsocial and no-fashion-sense bookworm. It had hurt my pride deeply. T.T

But everything changed when I started to watch a Japanese drama that introduced by one of friend. Then slowly, I started to love watching Japanese dramas, listening Japanese songs. At that time, I was so addicted to 2 Japanese boy bands - KAT-TUN and Arashi, until I wanted to learn Japanese language so hard just intend to understand what they were trying to say in their TV shows. [Most of the Japanese shows don't have English subtitle.] Indeed, I did learnt some by myself.^^ Same as fashion, I started to buy and study on Vivi magazine, learn Chikako's wearing and style, make up, shopping...

All that I have done is just try to change my impression to others. I don't want others criticise me, I don't want people laugh at me, I try my best to social with others. I am a girl, I also want to be pretty and sociable like normal girls do. Being fashionable is not a ridiculous act, it is a way to let people to be more self-confident by showing their own style and character. And the most important is girls do have rights to be pretty!

Wow~ I just realised that I had went out with friends for 3 days continuously. This time we went to Sogo. After finished my Moral Studies' exam in the afternoon, we straight away went there by taking 2.30 pm bus from campus. That day, Ktm was seriously full of people and we were forced to squeeze in the train. Can't help, that's the only transport we can take to Bandar Tasik Selatan except by taxi. T.T

We directly went to Sogo's food court as we were starving. We needed to get some energy from food before we started our shopping mission. Haha.

Once again, we went out to Kajang to have dinner after class on Thursday. While we were waiting the 5.45 pm bus, we went to Student Association Building's tv room to watch some tv programme. I didn't go there for ages, quite missed the moment we used to go there during Semester 0~

Xiao Han wanted to go to Kajang to have a hair cut in the afternoon since our class ended at 11.00am on Wednesday. We had planned both of us go to Kajang first, then later the guys will join us to have dinner together. But ended up, both of us had a "date" instead. Haha.. This was the first time I went out with Xiao Han alone and we had a great time by having girls' favourite activity - shopping!

After shopping, I accompanied her to saloon nearby. We had waited for nearly half an hour at there, so we took some pictures to reduce our boredom while waiting Xiao Han's turn.

After that, we went to McDonald to have our dinner. We were so hungry until we ordered two large set of burger package and two fried chickens.

I can't say that I'm a super fan of Vivi magazine (Japanese fashion magazine), but I had bought about 6 of them since last year. Vivi has slowly become part of my fashion guidance and give me a lot of inspiration about Japanese latest fashion, for me, I will particular referring Chikako's.

But what was unexpected was one of my favourite KAT-TUN member - Kamenashi Kazuya appeared in December 2009's Vivi! I wanted that magazine so much since only Hong Kong version has the special interview about him. After searching it for few weeks, I finally found it at a bookstore in Midvalley. [sweat~] Kyaaa! Finally I can get a hard copy of him!

Another surprise was Jejung and Yuchun from Tohoshinki also appeared in that magazine as well! So, for those who are Tohoshinki's fans, enjoy ya~

Banzai! Exam for Semester 1 is finally over, which means, once again, I can relax my mind, stretch my legs and go shopping with friends.^^ But, this time, an idea suddenly came across through our mind which we planned to go to a place that much more far away from our campus - Sunway Pyramid. Although it is a bit far away and we were tired since we all woke up around 7.45 in the morning, but I really had a lot of fun with friends on that day.

I had a sudden feeling that I wanted to listen to Good Charlotte's songs to relax my mind while I was rushing my 2 lab reports. No doubt, they are one of my favourite music band and they really are good singers.^^ This is because especially when I listening to their song " We Believe", I like their voice, their musical instruments' combination, the song's rhythm, and mostly the lyrics. I received a sms from my dad when I was having my Electricity and Magnetism class just now. He told me that he will be in KL for these few days, but, unfortunately, I can't go out to meet him since I have classes. I miss him so much as well as my family:( I didn't meet them for almost 3 months. I just wondering how many days I still left to go back to my hometown as I will going back on 19 December during my study weeks.

I miss my grandpa's hoarse voice, my dad's snore, my mum and grandma's cooking, my brother's laughter, my cats' purr, my pillow, my desk, my chair,...

Wow... I really can't believe that I didn't update my blog about 2 months. I nearly forgot my password of my blog.[phew~] Sorry for that, everyone.

Anyway, lots of things had happened during these 2 months, including happiness, sadness, frustration and more. I will not list them down, but, it seems time really elapsed when reminisce on them.

By the way, I just started the first week of my new semester last week which means I had some time to hang out with friends to have fun! Yeah me! So, we went to Midvalley on Wednesday as we were free in the afternoon. It's such a great day that I had with my Nottingham's friends. Studying

As a freshman, I know I will face a lot of challenges and pressure in studies, people and the environment as well. If you have seen Charmen's blog, I am sure that you will know the amaze and wonder of colours. For me, I start to love the colour of nature which calm and relax my stressful mind as I can imagine I am standing under white clouds that drifted across the blue sky, watching the yellow, wilted leaves stirred in the light breeze, appreciate the white, chaste lilies that give a delicate fragrance which refresh my mind, hearing waves crashing onto the shore as I standing beside an opaque, turquoise sea. What a nice scene...

I just realised that I have been stayed here about one week after a busy and tiring classes in this 5 days. Tons of tutorial papers and assignment have been given to us in the first week. See how pity we are! Finally I can relax myself by hanging with my friends at Tesco, Semenyih just now. Since I missed my best friends, Jocelyn and Charmen so much, so we are going to meet and shopping at Midvalley Megamall tomorrow^^ By the way, I really want to thank God that I have made a lot of new friends and also gave me the opportunity to join the Christian Fellowship in this campus yesterday. Through the sharing session, I really can felt the faith and commitment towards God from our seniors. So, keep the faith to our God, friends! God bless you^^

After busy unpacking and settle all my things in my new room at University of Nottingham, finally today, I can sit down and update my blog. As expected, this place is very nice and comfortable. After staying here about 2 days, I start to adapt the university' s life as the class will starts tomorrow. During orientation, all of us had been told that we will have the diagnostic tests for Mathematics and English tomorrow. What a pain! I didn't study and even look on Mathematics for 7 months!

6 months have elapsed since I graduated from secondary school. In July, I will be going to a higher level as I will study the foundation programme in engineering at University of Nottingham. Honestly, I have been waited this moment comes for so long. It's still left few more days. Wish me luck.^^

Recently, I realised that how practical and realistic I am. Maybe it is because I strongly believe that I am the only one who can control and decide my future as I had been told once before that I was born to be an engineer! But I wonder is it a good characteristics I should really have or maybe I should thank God that He gave me the power of determination. Anyway, I am the way I am.
